I work alongside Dr. Anderson in the clinic and assist at the front desk whenever I’m needed. I enjoy learning, and there is always a new challenge to take on to expand my knowledge. I love working with Dr. Anderson because he isn’t just a doctor; he’s also a teacher and he strives for all his staff to be the best that they can be. He is very genuine and cares about every single one of his team members and their families. I recently got married in July of 2012 to my husband, Matthew. We have two daughters, Natalie and Averie. In my spare time I like to go camping and take the girls on trips.
My responsibilities include sterilizing instruments, seating patients, and pouring models. While I just recently joined the team, my experience here goes way back; Dr. Anderson was my orthodontist and I love my smile now! He is the sweetest, most genuine guy, and I am grateful to work with him and our team. He really loves what he does and he is always looking for ways to improve his practice. I graduated in 2012 from Castro Valley High and started my first semester of college this fall. I have three cats, Pearl, Maxx, and Tigger, and my free time is spent reading books.
Accounting and Payroll Coordinator
I am responsible for setting up and processing monthly patient payments, payroll, accounts payable, marketing, scheduling appointments, and answering the phone. I really appreciate working with our team, especially Dr. Anderson. He is committed to giving his patients the best quality care and his dedication is contagious. He stays up on the latest technology and is continually researching new materials and procedures to improve patient comfort and overall treatment. I have three grown children and three cats. I enjoy reading and walking, and am active in my local church by leading a weekly Women’s Bible study discussion group.
Registered Dental Assistant
As Dr. Anderson’s dental assistant, I help to place braces, change wires, take any necessary X-rays and photographs, and give instruction on the best ways to take care of your braces or appliance. I love meeting new patients and take the time to make sure your treatment is an easy, comfortable, and all-around positive experience. At home, I have a Blue Nose All-American pit-bull puppy and a turtle named Cuecas. I enjoy practicing my Portuguese traditions by dancing in a folklore group, singing traditional “Fado” music, participating in the Holy Ghost parades, and conducting a class which teaches kids about their heritage and ethnic traditions. I also take pleasure in going camping and going to the lake with my family.
I work with our new patients to coordinate treatment plans and am always available to answer any question you may have to make your time here as pleasant, comfortable, and stress-free as possible. Getting to know our patients is the best part of my job; I love to know what’s going on in their lives! In the 11 years I’ve worked in orthodontics, Dr. Anderson is by far the best doctor I’ve gotten to work with. He takes the time to educate his staff, he brings out our personalities, and loves the sound of laughter in the office. I am married with three daughters, two dogs, and a goldfish. I like to coach soccer and softball and enjoy camping, Zumba, ATV riding, and water sports.
